It started with a simple concept. With streetwear growing at a fast pace, we created a brand for men called, Privileged by X.E.M. (acronym, PVL). Launching our collection with a few graphic tees, word spread quickly with the help of our Bay Area followers. Our goal was to provide people with a brand that had true meaning behind it. Problem was, in a saturated market, that can only get you so far.

Taking the pulse and opinion of our audience into consideration, we re-branded from streetwear to contemporary, while also adding a women’s collection. Not only did we want to focus on our brand’s meaning, but also on the cut, fit, and use of premium fabrics. To this day and always, we strive to provide you, the Young & Inspired, with premium clothing at an affordable cost.

No longer does Privileged mean pre-determined wealth, social supremacy, or outdated class systems. No longer is privilege out of our control. Privileged means to be rich in self-worth; to acknowledge one's potential and channel it towards the greater good. We are the writers, the artists, the entrepreneurs, the Young & Inspired - doing what we love, while making a difference in people's lives.

We determine our own advantages and we make our own means. We are the commanders of our fate and whatever comes with it - riches, comfort, recognition - comes our responsibility to inspire future generations.
